Mark Cherry

Mark’s background includes research, training and feature writing. Aside from teaching, his current interests include surfing, academic literacy, pop culture and film. He is a member of the Film Critics Circle of Australia (FCCA) and the Association of Academic Language and Learning (AALL).

Dr Ruth Wajnryb

Ruth  is the director of LARA Consultancy and heads up the Cerise brain trust.  Known as a leading language authority, she has published sixteen books and over 500 articles, conference papers and reviews. In her roles as a columnist, Collins Dictionary spokesperson and communications specialist, Ruth is a sought-after consultant and speaker at conferences and writing festivals.
